Met Gala '18
This year's exhibition theme is Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination. Last year i did find many of the outfits that amazing so when this years theme was announced I wondered if it would be another bit of a flop because how far will people go with this theme while trying not to offend people with this religion. However, this year I found was much better than last years outfits.
My two favourite looks from the evening were Rihanna's and Sarah Jessica Parkers'. I thought that they really took the theme seriously and went all out. Compared to some other outfits they stood out by far.
The Kardashian/ Jenner sisters are ones who I usually look out for because no matter how you feel about them they are huge influencers and often pull off great outfits. But this year I was not impressed with any of them. Kim K's dress was perfectly fitted and showed off her amazing curves but all it had was a naff cross on the side to link it to the theme which I just thought was minimum effort. The Jenner sisters' outfits were even worse and you literally could not tell what the theme might be from what they were wearing at all.
