The original supermodel
In the 1990s saw the biggest and most famous supermodels like; Naomi, Linda, Tatjana, Christy and Cindy. The black and white photo by Peter Lindbergh's black and white photo kicked off the supermodel era.
Cindy, Claudia, Naomi, Carla and Helena reunited for the Versace ss18 catwalk show. The show was inspired by a previous show in the 90s with the same patterns and cow girl looks.
In 1998, Time declared the death of the supermodel however with the rise of social media models like Kendall, Gigi and Bella have been able to create a huge following by themselves. Instead of like the original supermodels having a lot of press follow them 24/7 the new supermodel can decide what they want to show to promote themselves.
