The "F" in Fortile stands for feminism.
Throughout all seasons of Fortile they all have the same sexy all-powerfull style. Mixing the playful pinks with the fetish PVC material. Fortile is very relevant to street culture with many strong female artists supporting it, one being Rihanna. "Rihanna definitely represents the Fortile woman, because she's just herself. She doesn't apologize, she doesn't care about criticism and she isn't scared to change her style or music. There is something ferocious and adventurous about her." Essie Buckman- the fashion graduate from Saint Martens.
I first heard of Fortile through instagram and at first look loved the clothes then when I research into the label I loved it even more. The fact that the designer Essie is so young and it's became such a success is inspirational. But also because the designs are so personal to her with feminise inspiring her so much and her cultural background.
