A day in Dubai

Coming home from Melbourne I was supposed to get a connecting flight from Dubai straight back to the UK but after my flight from Melbourne was delayed 5 hours i missed the connecting flight. That was obviously very frustrating however it did mean I got to spend the day and night in Dubai somewhere I have not been before. It was never somewhere i would have chosen to go to myself but I did enjoy it and was very interesting to see a man made city that was still growing.
